The Lodge

Attoyac Lodge InteriorMore About The Lodge
The lodge itself began as a historic train depot originally located in the town of Brookland, Texas. In the 1960's the Angelina River was dammed to form Sam Rayburn Reservoir and the entire town had to be moved or flooded; Brookland relocated up-hill and the depot was moved to its present location on the ranch.

Although its historic character remained, the interior was completely remodeled and updated. Now the 4,500 sq ft structure has three bedrooms; a king-size master bedroom and Attoyac Dining Areatwo rooms with bunk beds, a modern commercial kitchen, and a dining room that seats 100 people. The lodge and its 20 x 40 foot swimming pool sit on the banks of a 10-acre private lake within walking distance of a covered, lighted fishing peer.

More About The Ranch
Bordering the east bank of the Attoyac river for over three miles the 1,400 plus acre ranch is managed year round to provide the best hunting possible of both selectively bred native Whitetail and Wild Boar as well as North American Elk, Axis Deer, and various exotic species. In addition to big game hunts the Attoyac Ranch also offers Quail, Ring Neck Pheasant, and Chuckar hunts with professionally trained dogs and expert guides. Several small Attoyac Lodge Interiorlakes and ponds provide catch and release fishing for largemouth bass weighing over 8lbs and excellent stocked cat-fishing. The variety of terrain consisting of East Texas piney woods, hardwood bottomland, open meadows, planted grain fields, managed food plots, scattered lakes and ponds and spring fed creeks work their way from the hills to the river. Not only is this a great area to hunt but it is also a beautiful place to enjoy the peace of the outdoors.
